Three members of the state US&R team’s K-9 program traveled to Toms River, New Jersey on December 6th to test for their FEMA certification. Kenneth Tillman, Keith Everett, and Heather Stout all participated with their K-9s. Kenny and Keith both passed earning their certifications. Heather came close, only missing it by one skill. K-9 team leader Phillip Richardson also attended as an evaluator. Phillips K-9, Jake, has been FEMA certified since 2006.
